My Background and Career
During my studies in Prague I worked for a company that had the intention to expand its presence on the German market. I worked with them to open branches in Germany, which I then managed. After some time, I felt a desire and a need to stand on my own feet and opened my business firm in Germany focused on counseling and convey of business contacts between the Czech Republic and Germany.
Lack of quality business databases in the Czech Republic, at that time, LinkedIn functioning only in English, not in Czech - these were the main opportunities and incentives for the development of my project of the new social network that was tailor-made concept for region of the Czech Republic, that creates a professional environment for communication Czech business and professional sectors.
At the time I was in the Czech Republic triggering česbyz, I had my own business in Germany for seven years and I felt that German mentality affected my business. I was worried if I would "fit in" :-)
Studies are a very good foundation, but one needs to educate more. Whether in your field or in areas related to it. Thanks to my consultancy and interpreting job I got into different field of industries and always downright sucking information from a new field. It's very inspiring.
Support of family and friends is important in business, and I'm lucky to be in the circle of my relatives found the people who love me advise you, or just listen.
Without contacts it is impossible! And that is precisely the reason for the creation of my project. To connect people not only feeds me, but it is also a big fun. The social network is the place where I was doing it in a big way. And others as well.
I had to get over my gullibility. In the business world in the Czech Republic simply that does not pay.
It was irritating to hearing about support for young entrepreneurs, great credit opportunities, etc., these are things that I have not touched. Banks generally do not support Internet business sector - mainly its beginnings. So you can't do more than to start somewhere and grow very slowly, without large investments. It is awkward in the Internet business.
I am open and very communicative, so I have no problem to reach people and also gain them for my own purposes.
My strengths are also openness to the ideas of others, empathy and creativity, I am a capable partner for brainstorming on any topic.
I am able to use the experience and advice of others and quickly make up my mind. I don’t hesitate to ask for advice. I like to have objectives and to reach my goals. I schedule activities and organise myself easily. I like to work as a team. I like to negotiate so that everyone ends up satisfied. I easily spread and transmit information. I listen and I pay attention to other people’s problems. I am able to learn and put into practice new information in my work
Hints & Tips
I once met a lady who was bored after leaving the administrative work to retirement. She established a company with building materials. She started a business and now already she has 15 employees. She showed me it always goes! Trust your decision! Believe in yourself! Stand on your own feet and build your project, your company, it satisfies man's energies. If you feel that it withdraws your power, then you chosen wrong, then it is not the right way or the right product. Then you need to change something.
