NAME: Joanna Przybek- Mita
ACTION/SECTOR: Services, Education
ORGANIZATION: Centre for Postgraduate Education for Nurses and Midwives in Rzeszow
My Background and Career
My professional career began in 1996 in the Provincial Specialist Hospital in Rzeszów, in the ward of neuroscience nurses, and nurses in the operating room operating orthopedics and traumatology of the motion. I also worked at the City Hospital until 2006.
Since 2002 I was involved and started to cooperate with the Centre for Postgraduate Education for Nurses and Midwives in Rzeszow, where I successively occupied the position of specialist and senior training specialist. Since this started out teaching in the postgraduate education. I am author of several training programmes of specialisation (such as a programme specialist in the field of operating nursing for nurses, a program specialist in the field of emergency nursing and so on).
I have experience in running my own business (since 2007 lead training company, and from 2008 non-public health care), and since 2009 I’ve been a university lecturer (Rzeszow University - Faculty of Medicine, University of Rzeszów - Department of Management, College of Science - Economics in Jarosław).
Since January 2010, I began serving as vice president and then from June 2010, the President of the Centre for Postgraduate Education for Nurses and Midwives. The company, in addition to commercial delivery of postgraduate training for nurses and midwives, implements a number of projects funded by the Ministry of Health, the European Social Fund and other grants and raises free training for nurses. Already in the first years of the management company I was awarded the National Competition for Modern Business statues Cheetah Business 2009, 2010 and 2011 and statuettes Effective and Efficient Companies 2010, 2011 and acquired Certificates reliable company, in 2011 and 2012. In the near future the company intends to develop activities with the use of modern technologies such as the training of e-learning, creating thematic discussion groups that enable saving time and money for the journey to the place of lectures and exercises, and develop the so-called. "Summer School", in which the beautiful open air (eg Bieszczady) can result in a variety of courses. This seems to be very much needed foreign training for groups of nurses and midwives. They made it possible to compare the quality of nursing care in Poland and other countries in Europe and improving the care to ever higher levels.

My motto in life:
"Turn your face to the sun, and the shadow will be behind." (African proverb); "Success is not a matter of secret, it's simply a matter of discipline. Discipline means that you do not leave things themselves, but we know what we should do and we do it. "(Jim Rohn)
